Marcos Estrada is a young Master Restorer who works between both, his private studio on the westside and the open small studio located inside the famous Madrid Antiques. Based in Southern California but serving the entire nation and abroad. Marcos was born in one of the most traditional arts and crafts
towns in Mexico, Tlaquepaque. He is the fifth generation in his family still devoted to the artistry world. The local museum is named after his great-great-grandfather who is considered to be the father of ceramics in the state of Jalisco.
Marcos is an Art graduate from E.L.A. College and has attended school of art in Guadalajara, the Art center in California, and conservation programs at the Getty museum. Also, he is self-taught in many of the different techniques, methods, and processes utilized.
